Sterling and many of our employees are proud to have been honored and awarded in many ways and for various reasons over the years. Listed below are just some of our most recent honors and awards, showcasing Sterling's talented people good business practices:

Sterling Savings Bank recently received a Corporate Citizenship Award from the Puget Sound Business Journal. For medium-sized companies, Sterling was the top corporate philanthropist for its corporate and foundation giving in Washington state in 2008.
Sonoma Bank (acquired by Sterling in 2007) has been named one of the best places to work by the North Bay Business Journal for the past three years.

Sterling received the 2007 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics in Spokane. This honor came with a congratulatory letter from U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris-Rogers and a coveted Eagle award and plaque.
